Someone posted on one of my mailing lists that it is not necessary to be connected with a library to gain access through the Discover More Corps (DiscoverMoreCorps.com). On the page after you enter your e-mail address and password, you can select one of seven occupations from the drop-down menu, including "researcher" and "other." Then fill in the organization with which you are affiliated. "Self" and "none" are acceptable answers.
