There's a clear division in the events for today. My father's side has Gauntts/Gaunts only. The others, from my mother's side, cover four different family lines.
James Dorrell was born October 7, 1848 in Ripley County, Indiana. He was the husband of Florence Thackeray, daughter of Joseph Thackeray and Mary Dubois, who is my 3rd cousin 4x removed on my Gauntt line through the Thackerays.
Lawrence Charles Gaunt, son of Calvert Gaunt and Annette Pearson, was born October 7, 1902 in Wabash County, Indiana. He is my 4th cousin 2x removed via the Gaunts.
Murray Farbman was born October 7, 1910 in Manhattan, New York County, New York. He was the husband of Etta Millstein, daughter of Nathan Millstein and Sarah Gordon (originally Gorodetsky), who is my 1st cousin 2x removed on my Gorodetsky line.
Gertrude Perlman, daughter of Abraham Sam Perlman (originally Perlmutter) and Stella Joffe, was born October 7, 1923 in Brooklyn, Kings County, New York. She is my 3rd cousin 1x removed on my Nowicki line through the Perlmutters.
Evelyn Buzen was born October 7, 1924 in Brooklyn, Kings County, New York. She was the wife of Leon Furman, son of Benjamin Furman and Sarah Meckler, who is my 1st cousin 1x removed on my Meckler line.
Debbie Kardish, daughter of Itzak Kardish and Shirley Bordelay, was born October 7, 1951 in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. She is my 2nd cousin 1x removed on my Gorodetsky line through the Kardishes.
Sydney Brainin, son of Max Joseph Brainin and Nellie Doctor, and Selma Belle Lubin were married October 7, 1948 in the Bronx, Bronx County, New York. Sydney is my 1st cousin 2x removed on my Brainin line.
William Oliver Gauntt, son of Thomas Franklin Gauntt and Anna Marie Stayton, and Wanda Ward were married October 7, 1961 in Evesham Township, Burlington County, New Jersey. William is my 1st cousin 1x removed on my Gauntt line.
Thomas Samuel Ellis, son of Samuel Naglee Ellis and Eleanor Jernee Thomas, and Phyllis A. Nettleman were married October 7, 1967 in Evesham Township, Burlington County, New Jersey. Thomas is my 2nd cousin on my Gauntt line through the Ellises.
Robert Eric Linkin and Stacy Ilene Gordon were married October 7, 2001. Stacy is my 2nd cousin.
Jennie Gaunt, daughter of Charles H. Gaunt and Mary Emma Berry, died October 7, 1900 in Delran, Burlington County, New Jersey at the age of 5 1/2. She is my 1st cousin 2x removed via the Gaunts.
Emma Frances Gaunt, daughter of Henry Plummer Gaunt and Emma Smith, died October 7, 1945 in Los Angeles County, California at the age of 84. She is my 3rd cousin 3x removed via the Gaunts.
Elizabeth Opal Gaunt, daughter of Charles Edward Gaunt and Sarah Malinda Kennedy, died October 7, 1979 in Los Banos, Merced County, California at the age of 83. She is my 4th cousin 2x removed via the Gaunts.
