Besides making sure that all three of her children knew that November 11 was Armistice Day, my mother enjoyed sharing her birthday with her 1st cousin Yedida.

Eugene Victor Gaunt, son of Joseph Harley Gaunt and Settie Inez Horn, was born November 11, 1907 in Knox Township, Jay County, Indiana.  He is my 5th cousin 1x removed via the Gaunts.

Myra Roslyn Meckler, daughter of Abraham Meckler and Lillyan E. Gordon, was born November 11, 1940 in Brooklyn, Kings County, New York.  She is my mother.

Yedida Marcia Amine, daughter of Moshe Amine and Florence Meckler, was born November 11, 1941 in Washington, D.C.  She is my 1st cousin 1x removed on my Meckler line.

Harvey Joseph Gaunt III, son of Harvey Joseph Gaunt, Jr. and Dorothy Mary Avis, was born November 11, 1944 in Haddonfield, Camden County, New Jersey.  He is my 3rd cousin via the Gaunts.

Linda Carol Griffith was born November 11, 1945 in Bridgeton, Cumberland County, New Jersey.  She was the first wife of Albert Lynn Lore, son of Frank Everett Eckman and Dorothy Mae Sellers, who is my half 1st cousin on my Sellers line.

Bonnie Fay Gaunt, daughter of Mark Wayne Gaunt and Minnie Louise Lotter, was born November 11, 1955, probably in Fort Wayne, Allen County, Indiana.  She is my 6th cousin via the Gaunts.

Danielle Shay Sapers-Moss was born November 11, 1989.  She is my 4th cousin 1x removed.

Marriages

Harold Leroy Davis, Sr. and Dorothy Mae Sellers, daughter of Bertram Lynn Sellers, Sr. and Elizabeth Leatherberry Sundermeier, were (possibly) married November 11, 1954 in Bridgeton, Cumberland County, New Jersey.  Dottie is my half-aunt on my Sellers line.

Frederick D. Allen, son of Mervin Gauntt Allen and Ellen Swain Bentz, and Kathleen E. Bushta were married November 11, 1979 in Hillsdale, Bergen County, New Jersey.  Frederick is my 5th cousin 1x removed on my Gauntt line through the Allens.

Dwight Roger Earehart, son of Denzel Rowland Earehart and Almeada Kathryn Cain, and Wanda Lou Biggs were married November 11, 1990 in Bennett Spring State Park, Bennett Springs, Laclede County, Missouri.  Dwight is my 6th cousin on my Gauntt line through the Eareharts.

Deaths

Sarah Anna Hartman died November 11, 1933 in Pennville, Jay County, Indiana at the age of 71.  She was the wife of Michael Willett Rowland, son of Samuel Rowland and Elizabeth Ann Gaunt, who is my 3rd cousin 3x removed via the Gaunts.

Lester Reed died November 11, 1962 in Chesterfield, Burlington County, New Jersey at the age of 51.  He was the husband of Dorothy Pamela Allen, daughter of William Daily Allen and Fannie Goldsboro Brown, who is my 5th cousin on my Gauntt line through the Allens.

Dorothy Gaynor, daughter of John Francis Gaynor and Wally Mary Ruppert, died November 11, 1991 in Newark, Essex County, New Jersey at the age of 73.  She is the half-grandaunt of my half-sister Laura Sellers.
